Hello fellow Orchid AOAs!! :D
I realized that I haven't met the criteria for one post a week, so I just wanted to say that.....
JIAYOU ORCHID for South Division Day this Saturday! :D
And I KNOW that for tent-pitching this Friday, we will surely improve our timing :D

Oh and for those representing their classes for Cross-Country Day tomorrow, good luck!
And those in the Mass Run, just wanna say good luck too!
And we can drink the milo/mineral water given out by the guides too!

HELLO ORCHID!
Yay, this is my first post here! I was told that all awesomest or the awesomest Orchidians must post! Cos so far it has only been Kaushi and Charlotte that are posting.

hello orchid
since I am incharge for the morning announcements script, well here it is:
Good morning Mrs. Ou yang, Mdm haslinda, Mrs lee, Ms Sim, teachers and my fellow cedarians. As part of our CIP project, Orchid patrol from Cedar Girl Guides will be car washing the teachers’ cars this and next term. A form will be dropped on every teacher’s mail tray with the list of all the dates on which the car wash will be held. The dates fall on either Wednesday or Friday. Please take a look at it and interested teachers please fill up the form and give it to any girl guide in Orchid Patrol. The names of those involved are in the forms.
Our first car wash session will be on 27th May 2009. We will do a thorough cleaning of the car including the tires. However, please take note that the interior of the car would not be cleaned. The cost for each car wash is $-. The profit will then be used as the school building fund. Therefore, we encourage all teachers to please send your car for ORCHID’S CAR WASH! :D

ORCHID ATTENTION! aft a long 2h massive convo on msn, orchidians awesomest of the awesomest charlotte, kaushi, rachel, celest and nithia (who left early) have decided on our long undone car washing for cip.
so here are the updates, make sure you are clear of them, esp if you didnt join our convo:

- sec1s orchidians awesomest of the awesomest will be joining us on this cip
- sec3s will make it for it too, to supervise and help as much as possible(: because this cip is the day before our midyears.
- cip date: first session - 27 May , 2.30 to 4 or 5, depending on the business we have(:
- publicity:
- 1 ) Charlotte and rachel awesomest of the awesomest will be going up to speak to the school during morning announcements
- 2) Posters will be plastered all over the school, explaining that 27 is the confirmed date, no changes and no more confusions
- 3) flyers will be re-updated to explain that 27 may is confirmed
okok now time for homework!
- Nithia - to update on the flyers, change the date to 27may. ensure that the poster contains info telling them that they are to park their car near the canteen at the vending machines there, for the safety of us, and also ensure that they are available in the staffroom or smth so that we can easily contact them when we need them. IMPT: to emphasize that this is the most updated flyers given up, and to apologise for the confusion in the previous flyers give out to the teachers, those were not the confirmed dates. to get the latest flyers from celest. after you are done, send it to my email and also post it to the this blog so that orchidians can see it. Deadline: 17 May
- Celest and rachel - to come up with a poster design each so that we can use these to paste up around the school. to emphsize that this is the confirmed date, to prevent confusion. and also to post it onto this blog here, and send me copy of it once you've made the changes base on the comments given by orchidians awesomest of the awesomest. poster info to be roughly about the same as the flyers, so must collaborate with nithia(: Deadline: 17may to put up on this blog (:
- Kaushi - to draft out announcement for rachel and me to say to the school. up to you to make it sound serious or funny, wadever you think can attract teachers to let us wash their car. ensure that you include the price, who we are, why we are doing this (5w1h basically) and any other info you must add! like eg, that sorry for the confusion and that this is the confirmed date. (put it in the nicer way hor) hahaha. okok. send to me for editing, or if you want can also put it up on this blog too so that orchidians awesomest of the awesomest can give comments too. thank you for everything you have done for orchid. Its really hard to write our feelings down as there is so much to say!
Firsly, haha...thanks for emphasising that orchid will NOT be violent. We'll be sure to pass that tradition on that we're not violent. A guide is kind to all living things and yes, we are living stuff too!
Secondly, the games we play during patrol corner is hilarious! But what strck me most is that however lame the game might be, we still continued to play it and make the best out of it. That made our patrol corners the best.
Now that we know that you wont be joining orchid patrol corners any longer, i'm regretting the days when we just kept quiet or talked among the levels. There used to be awkward silences and we've really wasted those precious times. :(
Like the guides blog said - yes, you do have to move on and farewell is inevitable.
you have been the best seniors we could ask for. and i feel that we've gotten only closer and stronger after farewell. this is not the end. Once a orchidian, always an orchidian. O-promise. (:
pls come and visit us whenever you are free. We'll always be there to share those wide smiles with you. :D
